Longtime Warsaw resident, John Thomas Wade, passed away at 2:51 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2019, at 2:51 AM, at Advent Hospital in Tampa, Fla. after a two-year bout with cancer. He was born in Wabash, on Aug. 9, 1940, the son of Glen and Roberta Wade.

A resident of Warsaw since 1956, he was a longtime Manager of Penguin Points in Warsaw. He and his wife Sue (Hatfield) Wade owned and operated Wade’s Farm Market on US 30 West of Warsaw for many years, and also Wade’s Mushrooms. They have been wintering in Sebring, Florida since retiring. In addition to his wife, Sue, John is survived by a son, John, daughters Roberta and Jeanette. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sons Glen and Wendell Wade.

Memorial services for John T. Wade are to be held in Warsaw at a later date.
