SiteWorx Services Donates To Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund
KOSCIUSKO — SiteWorx Services made a donation of $1,325 to Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund today, April 5.
Brandon Hepler, SiteWorx Services, partnered with the K21 team to help give to the Kosciusko County Cancer Fund. $25 of each rental of a “Trashing Cancers” roll-off dumpster was donated to the fund. Three “Trashing Cancers” dumpsters were available for rental, and the program started in October 2018.
The Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, administered by K21 Health Foundation, provides assistance to financially eligible residents of Kosciusko County who are suffering from cancer. The purpose of the fund is to relieve some of the financial strain that often accompanies that dreaded diagnosis. The assistance provided includes but is not limited to items such as rent or mortgage payments, utilities, insurance, food, car payments and prescription medications.
“We teamed up with SiteWorx because this is such a good cause,” said Darrell Hicks, Monteith Tire. “We’re very glad to help give back to the community.”
Robert Signs, Warsaw, created the cancer decals for the dumpsters.
Those who rented a Trashing Cancers dumpster or donated directly to the Trashing Cancers PayPal account were entered into a raffle drawing for prizes provided by Monteith Tire and Expressions Salon. Carson Construction won a $500 gift certificate for a new set of tires from Monteith Tire. Lori Myers won a gift card for a massage from Expressions Salon.
