Brenda K. Ward
Brenda K. Ward, 61, Noble County, passed away at 6:12 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in her residence. She was born Nov., 20, 1957, in Rochester, to Arlo and Lois (Ummel) Knouff.
She lived most of her life in Missouri and Indiana. She was an LPN during her life and was a passionate caregiver. She was a very intelligent woman who loved to learn and was a member of Mensa. She also enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, gardening, feeding the birds, and was always taking in wildlife in need of care and rehabilitation. Brenda was a passionate charity giver and worker; she was always looking to see how she could help others. She was an avid crochet knitter, she even held the world record for the largest granny square arrangement. Brenda was a deeply spiritual person, an avid caregiver, animal lover, and traveler. She continued to learn, love, and experience life on a daily basis. She was also a member of SCA; a historical reenactment society.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Renee Ward (Matthew) Allen of St. Louis, Mo.; brothers; Bruce (Tabitha) Knouff of Warsaw; Roger Knouff of Noble Co.; and a niece; Hailey Knouff of Columbia, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon, Sunday, April 7, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow immediately after at noon on Sunday, April 7, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will officiate the Funeral Service and interment will be private.
