Warner Appointed As Claypool Town Council Member
WARSAW — Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee Chairman Mike Ragan appointed Gene Warner to complete the remaining term of the Claypool Town Council member position.
Larry Neher, the elected Republican Claypool Town Council member, passed away March 11.
Warner has lived in the town of Claypool for more than 60 years. He worked as a town employee for 28 years, retiring in February of this year. While employed by the town, Warner worked as Claypool’s water and street superintendent, as well as several other positions. Warner also was a fireman for 39 years.
“We congratulate Gene Warner on this appointment and wish him well in his new position and are confident that he will serve the citizens of Claypool with courtesy and professionalism,” said Ragan. “The Kosciusko County Republican Party again expresses sympathy to the family of Mr. Neher and are grateful to him for his many years of service to the community of Claypool.”
