BREAKING — Man, Woman Injured In SR 15 Rollover Crash
WARSAW — A man and woman were both hurt in an afternoon single-vehicle rollover accident south of Warsaw on Tuesday, April 2.
At around 4:55 p.m., county dispatchers called on emergency medical personnel and fire units to respond to the accident on SR 15, near CR 350S, Warsaw.
According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office personnel at the scene, a female driver of a black Jeep Grand Cherokee left the east side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll down a 20-foot hill and into a field, coming to rest on the vehicle’s top. A male occupant of the vehicle was treated at the scene with facial injuries and was transported by EMS to a local hospital. The woman also complained of pain but declined medical treatment, according to the deputy at the scene.
The vehicle was traveling northbound and tire marks on the soft shoulder indicate the vehicle began leaving the roadway about 50 to 100 feet before traveling down the steep embankment.
