Warsaw Steak ‘n Shake Announces Temporary Closure
WARSAW – The Warsaw Steak ‘n Shake restaurant, located at 2455 Jalynn St., announced this morning, March 28, that the location will be temporarily closed until further notice.
The restaurant posted the following statement on the front door.
“We have decided to close this Steak ‘n Shake location, which is being designated for a franchise partner. We will be renovating by installing new equipment to improve our speed and customer service. This location will re-open under new franchise ownership. In the meantime, we hope you visit one of our nearby locations. Thank you for your support and continued patronage.”
InkFreeNews spoke with a manager at the restaurant. According to the manager, the Warsaw location officially closed as of 5 a.m. this morning. He was unsure of when the restaurant would reopen to the public.
The Steak ‘n Shake corporate headquarters office in Indianapolis also said there was not a set reopen date at this time and that the restaurant was changing from corporate to franchise ownership.
Locations in Kokomo, Michigan City and Bloomington are also temporarily closed. Several Steak ‘n Shake restaurants in Illinois, Ohio and Missouri are also closed for remodeling.
