Two people were transported from a two-vehicle accident that occurred on South Country Club Road Wednesday, March 27.

WARSAW — Two people were transported from a two-vehicle accident on South Country Club Road, near East CR 400S, Warsaw.

At approximately 12:39 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle accident.

The crash involved a 2004 white Ford truck, operated by Gwendolyn L. Ostrom, 64, Claypool; and a 2006 white Cadillac car, operated by Carol A. Bartley, 54, Warsaw.

Ostrom was traveling east on CR 400S when she stopped her vehicle at an intersection. She did not see Bartley’s vehicle traveling northbound on Country Club Road when she pulled into the intersection.

Bartley and a passenger in her vehicle, Shelly K. Gilley, 58, Etna Green were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for injuries. Bartley complained of shoulder and upper arm pain, and Gilley complained of chest pain.

Damages are estimated at up to $10,000.
