Donald G. Clouse
Donald G. Clouse, 85, Fulton, passed away at 7:23 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 10, 1933, in Fort Wayne, the son of George and Marjorie (Peigh) Clouse. He served with the United States Navy during the Korean War. On May 2, 1993, in Las Vegas, Nev., he married Linda Kay (Rouch) Towne and she survives.
Mr. Clouse had worked for Essex Wiring in Kendallville, and for the Town of Fulton. He was an active member of the Fulton Masonic Lodge, Charter member of the Fulton- Liberty Township Lions Club, American Legion, Kendallville, Indiana, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Butler, Indiana, United States Submarine Veterans Inc., USS Sea Owl Association, and the Rochester Bowling Association. In his leisure time he enjoyed bowling and attending all his grandchildren’s ball games.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Clouse, Fulton; children: Diana Walker, Kendallville; Donald Lee and wife Phyllis Clouse, Avilla; Donna and husband Wade Brinkman, Rome City; Debbie Clouse, Kendallville; step children: Donald and wife Mary Kay Towne, Rochester; Kathryn and husband Milton Pesak, Rochester; Larry and wife Missy Towne, Rochester; Sandy Henderson and companion Aric Lee , Rochester; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, David Lee Clouse.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Fulton, with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, at the funeral home with a Masonic Service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also visit on Thursday one hour prior the service. Burial will be at Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana, where military graveside services will be conducted by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton Baptist Temple or the Kendallville Humane Society.
