Witness Captures Video Of Early Morning US 30 Semi Crash
WARSAW — An early morning accident on East US 30 and CR 200N was captured on video. Chad Laughlin, R&B Car Company, Warsaw, provided Ink Free News with the video.
Two semis were traveling east on US 30 around 6:30 a.m. today, March 11, when a semi driven by R. Cotner, 64, Winamac, was rear-ended by another semi driven by James Goins, 64, Georgia. The collision caused Goins’ semi to drive through the median and westbound lane of US 30. The semi came to rest overturned in a ditch.
Goins suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.
All lanes of US 30 were closed while emergency crews cleaned up spilled diesel.
