Remocaldo Fielding Offer To Ivy Tech
WARSAW – Tiger baseball and football letterman Avery Remocaldo has chosen his path to take after he crosses the Warsaw graduation stage this spring, and the pitcher / first baseman has chosen to attend Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne and play baseball for the Titans.
Remocaldo, an offensive lineman and long-snapper for the Tiger football program, looks to enter his senior season and take the mound as one of the top Tiger pitchers for coach Andy Manes’ program.
The hard-throwing right handed hurler demonstrated his versatility and commitment to athletics early on as he also participated in cross country as a freshman and sophomore.
Remocaldo not only stood out as a leader for Tiger athletic programs, he has been a solid force with helping in the community, serving as a Baker Youth Club volunteer, Salvation Army volunteer, Fellowship Missions, Warsaw Community Church volunteer, Feed My Starving Children, Warsaw Little League, as well as youth camps for Tiger football and baseball.
Remocaldo is undecided on a major at this point, but looks forward to playing for head coach Lance Hershberger, and assistants Scott Bickel, Lenny Clark III, and Connor Wilkins. Ivy Tech started its program last season and turned in an impressive 25-17 record. Ivy Tech is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
