Charles E. Berkeypile
Charles E. “Chuck” Berkeypile, 76, Milford, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born on Feb. 20, 1943, in Warsaw to Ralph Everett and Gladys Marie (Hollar) Berkeypile.
He was a lifetime Milford area resident and graduated in 1961 from Milford High School where he played basketball and baseball.
He was formerly the owner and operator of Berks Body Shop in Milford, formerly a painter in the RV and boat industries, and was most recently employed at Syracuse Rubber and Parker Hannifin prior to his retirement.
He is survived by two daughters: Danae Whetten, Fort Myers, Fla.; Denise (Dan) Brennan, Syracuse; two sons: Chad (Sheila) Berkeypile, Milford; Brent (Erin) Berkeypile, Syracuse; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; his longtime companion, Debra Wallace, Milford, also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sally L. Baker
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in the Milford Cemetery.
