LAKELAND GYMNASTICS 110.3, WAWASEE 108.6
The host Lakers performed well on its equipment, getting past Wawasee Monday night.
Emma Schiffli had quite a night for Lakeland, placing first in all five categories, scoring 9.7 on vault, beam and floor and a 9.3 on bars. Her beam score tied Wawasee’s Eden Scott for top mark. Schiffli ended the night with the blue ribbon, finishing with a 38.4 all-around score, Scott a 37.5 for second.
Scott scored a 9.6 on vault, 9.0 on bars and 9.2 on floor, all in runner-up figures. Teammate Delaney Delagrange was tied for fourth on bars at 8.8, fourth on floor at 9.0, fifth on beam at 9.4 and fourth in all-around at 36.2.
NorthWood’s Emilee Conrad was third in all-around at 36.9, helped by a 9.5 on vault, 8.8 on bars, 9.5 on beam and 9.1 on floor.
Wawasee lost a close result to Lakeland in the JV competition, 97.8-97.4. Macie Tharp was first on floor, tied for first on vault and first in all-around. Ella Beer added a first on beam and Karissa Boesenberg was first on bars and second in all-around.
NORTHRIDGE 7TH GRADE GIRLS 33, NORTHWOOD 31
Northridge knocked out NorthWood in overtime of the Big 11 tournament Monday night.
Joselyn Edwards had a big night for NorthWood in the loss with 13 points, four steals and three rebounds. Callie Johnson had eight points, seven boards, two steals and an assist and Sophie Vincent added six points, four boards, two assists and a steal.
