Regional Basketball Ticket Info
The IHSAA basketball season is into the regional round for the four classes, and ticket info has been released for the area sites.
For the Class 4-A Michigan City Regional, Northridge fans can start purchasing their tickets on Wednesday in their athletic office. Tickets will be on sale at Northridge Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. The athletic office is in Door 1 at the high school. Tickets are $10 per ticket, which is the same set-up as the info for the Marion regional. Single game tickets are $7 and sold at the doors in Michigan City.
Penn and Chesterton open play at Michigan City, with an 11 a.m. (EST) opening tip. Northridge and Munster follow at around 1 p.m. (EST), with the winners coming back for an 8 p.m. (EST) tip for the championship.
For the Class 3-A Marion Regional, Tippecanoe Valley fans can get tickets starting Tuesday morning at the athletic office. Tickets are $10 per ticket, which is good for the session, or individual tickets for each session (morning games/night game) are $7 apiece. The individual tickets will be for sale at Marion, or the full session tickets can be purchased starting at 8 a.m. at TVHS.
Marion and Angola open the regional with their game that starts at 10 a.m., with Tippecanoe Valley and Delta to follow at approximately noon. The regional championship is listed to start at 8 p.m.
For the Class 2-A North Judson Regional, tickets are being sold at each of the individual schools for full sessions, or at the gate for individual games. Tickets are $10 for a full session and $7 at the door.
Michigan City Marquette and Andrean meet in game one with an 11 a.m. (EST) start time, with Westview and Bluffton meeting in game two at approximately 1 p.m. (EST), with the winners coming back for an 8 p.m. (EST) tip for the championship.
For the Class 1-A Triton Regional, tickets are in the same scenarios as those at the other regionals, $10 for a day pass, $7 per ticket at the door for either of the morning sessions, or the night championship.
Argos is playing Covenant Christian (DeMotte) in the 10 a.m. game with Fort Wayne Blackhawk taking on Gary 21st Century in the noon contest.
