Warsaw Man Arrested After Police Say He Stole Vehicle
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after police say he stole a truck.
Jacob Daniel King, 21, 944 E. Garfield St., Warsaw, is being charged with auto theft, a level 6 felony.
On Dec. 22, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to an auto theft. The victim stated that earlier that day, King arrived at his residence. King was speaking with the victim’s wife in the kitchen and then left the residence. Shortly after King left, the victim went outside and noticed that his 2009 Ford F-150 was missing.
The victim advised that the keys to his vehicle were in the kitchen when King was speaking to his wife. The victim further advised that King was the only person who could have access to the keys and that King was never given permission to take the vehicle.
King was arrested on a warrant and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Feb. 23.
