Police Accuse Warsaw Woman Of Biting Man’s Face
WARSAW — Police say that an argument turned physical and led a Warsaw woman to choke and bite a man on the side of his face.
Linda L. Jenkins, 58, 340 E. Levi Lee Road, No. 177, Warsaw, is charged with strangulation, a level 6 felony and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
According to officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, police responded to a domestic disturbance on Jan. 30 in the county and interviewed a man who reported that Jenkins had become angry and backed him into a corner where she choked him with her hands to the point he couldn’t breathe. The man also told police, according to the report, that she then bit him on the side of his face.
Police reported interviewing Jenkins, who told officers she was involved in an argument with the man and that it turned physical. She told officers that she bit the man in response to him choking her. Police wrote in the report that they could find no evidence of Jenkins being choked.
