NAPPANEE – NorthWood’s Hannah Brubaker made an impression for the Panthers’ cross country team. Next fall, she will give it a go with the Manchester Spartans.
Brubaker signed her National Letter of Intent with Manchester University, taking the next step to further her cross country and track careers.
Brubaker emerged as one of the top runners for the Panthers this season, advancing to the regional level as an individual after the team narrowly missed qualifying as a unit at the sectional. At the Northern Lakes Conference Championships, Brubaker placed 19th at 21:23, and after landing 20th at 22:08, the team captain recovered with a 21:37 to place 48th at the regional.
For her career, Brubaker earned four letters in cross country and should secure her fourth this spring in track. She is a two-time regional qualifier in cross country, and in the classroom, has generated a 3.99 GPA and is a four-year Scholar Athlete.
