Plane Crashes Near Goshen Thursday Evening
ELHART COUNTY — Federal aviation investigators are expected to begin an investigation into an airplane crash between Goshen and Millersburg Thursday evening. The crash snapped high tension power lines with the plane landing in a farm field.
It has been confirmed that the pilot died in the crash.
The plane crashed in a field owned by James Garber, along CR 42, near CR 33 around 8 p.m. two miles east of Goshen Municipal Airport. Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department and Goshen police, along with firefighters from multiple departments responded to the scene.
The plane is reportedly a multi-person plane.
