LAKELAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 67, NOBLE-WHITLEY HOMESCHOOL 55
LCA took advantage of the extra opportunity to get a game in by defeating the eastern counties homeschool Monday night in Winona Lake.
The opportunity also gave Jake Harmon the platform to set another scoring record, this time most threes in a season as the senior sniper hit four more to give him 75 for the season. The milestone, previously held by Josh McDaniel, came in the third quarter when Harmon splashed down his third of the frame as LCA was en route to building a 51-42 lead.
Seven Cougars made the scoring column Monday night, led by Harmon’s 23 and 19 career-high points from Braxton Keller, who had 12 of those in the first quarter. Keller also pulled down seven rebounds. Landon Twombly added nine points and nine assists and Trenton Parker notched six points.
Josh Lazzarino paced the visitors with 23 points and Corbin Delanoy added 11 points.
