Syracuse Man Arrested After Admitting To Molesting Three Children

KOSCIUSKO — A Syracuse man was recently arrested after he confessed to police that he has molested three children under the age of 10.
Ronald Dewayne Hensley, 54, 5251 East CR 800N, Syracuse, is currently facing one charge of child molesting, a level 4 felony.
On Jan. 2, an officer with the Indiana State Police responded to the North Webster Police Department. At the department, Hensley advised he wanted to confess to child molesting.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Hensley told the officer that he inappropriately touched a child when she was 9 years old. He admitted that this occurred sometime in 2012 and happened around 12 times.
The child was interviewed by an employee of Child and Family Advocacy Center. The child confirmed that Hensley had touched her inappropriately.
Hensley further admitted to the officer that around 16 years ago, he fondled two other children between the ages of 6 and 8 years old.
Hensley was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Feb. 15, with a surety and cash bond of $20,250 surety and cash.
