Clifford D. Wolf
Clifford D. Wolf passed away at 4:45 a.m., Feb. 9, 2019. He was born on May 26, 1938, to Ernest and Vivian (Chubb) Barth-Wolf. He married the light of his world, Cleo Jean (Estep) Wolf on Jan. 31, 1965.
Over the years he worked at several recreational vehicle places in Elkhart, including Beeline and Barth Corporation before helping them move the business to Milford. He also worked for Leesburg Lumber and for his son at CDCI for many years as a drywall construction job supervisor. He was a “Jack of all trades” and there was not much that if he didn’t know how to do it, he would surely figure it out. He loved to spend time in his barn tinkering with whatever new project he had; from construction, mechanical work, refinishing furniture, but most of all he loved to help others, and always with a smile on his face.
Surviving Clifford Wolf are four children he was blessed with, Patricia (Wolf) and Troy Seay of Goshen; Renee (Wolf) and Gregg Walker of Indianapolis; Marcy (Wolf) and Barry Cannon of Cromwell; and Clifford Wolf II and Lisa (Wilson) Wolf of Milford. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and three sisters, Betty VanScoik of Warsaw; Wilma Tobey of Fort Wayne; and Louise Sponseller of Winona Lake.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Cleo Jean Wolf, a daughter, Norma Jean (Lanham) Whetten, a sister, Lillian Brandenburg and 4 brothers, Bob Barth, Don Barth-Wolf, Wilbur Barth and Bill Barth and his parents.
At the request of Mr. Wolf, there will be no funeral service as his wishes were to be cremated and the family will hold a private service at a later date.
