Bussard Among HBM Top 100
INDIANAPOLIS – The honors keep rolling in for one of Tippecanoe Valley’s finest.
Sophie Bussard was listed among Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 100 workout list. The designation is given to seniors after evaluation from coaches in the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, sportswriters, sportscasters, college recruiters and referees throughout Indiana.
The Top 100 list will eventually be whittled down to the Top 60, to which the players will be invited to HBM’s 38th annual Top 60 Senior Girls Workout on Sunday, March 3, at Marian University in Indianapolis.
Bussard, who is committed to Division 1 Southeast Missouri State, helped Tippecanoe Valley to a 16-7 record this season, third-place finish in the Three Rivers Conference, West Noble Sectional runner-up finish, and West Noble holiday tournament championship. Bussard finished her senior season with per game averages of 21.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 2.9 assists.
