Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
11:29 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, North CR 300E, south of East Defreese Road, MIlford. Driver: Jennifer J. Schulien, 35, South Main Street, Milford. Schulien’s vehicle slid off the roadway and into a ditch, bending three metal fence posts and then colliding with a Kosciusko REMC utility pole. Schulien complained of pain to her neck but refused medical treatment at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
11:13 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, South CR 275E, south of East Wilcox Road, Warsaw. Driver: Krystal L. Sellers, 22, 9B Road, Bourbon. Sellers’ vehicle slid on the icy roadway, leaving the west edge of the road and striking some trees. Damage up to $10,000.
10:18 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, North CR 200E, north of East CR 550N, Warsaw. Driver: Lidia J. Alvarado, 45, Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Alvarado stated her vehicle began to slide on the ice covered road and she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the road and entered a ditch where the vehicle rolled onto its side. Alvarado complained of chest pain but signed off from medics at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
2:43 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, West US 30 and North SR 19, Etna Green. Driver: Ember W. Bradley, 31, Wooster Road, Pierceton. Bradley’s vehicle left the roadway, traveling through a ditch downhill, and entering a culvert where the vehicle then rolled onto its side. Damage up to $5,000.
7:53 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, South SR 25, north of South CR 400W, Warsaw. Driver: Diana L. Dugan, 59, Monroe Street, Rochester. Dugan’s vehicle left the road and struck a sign. Damage up to $5,000.
6:41 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, North SR 13, north of East CR 500N, North Webster. Driver: Travis A. Coday, 30, South Henry Street, Milford. A deer ran onto the road and struck the right front bumper of Coday’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
4:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, West CR 300N and North CR 875W, Etna Green. Driver: Richard B. Stouder 82, West Lake Park Road, Warsaw. A horse-drawn buggy was on CR 875W at the stop sign, waiting to turn onto CR 300N. Stouder’s vehicle began a left turn onto CR 875W and struck the horse and the front portion of the buggy. The horse suffered a laceration to the inside of its rear left leg and was taken to a veterinarian. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, Backwater Road, east of EMS W21 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Tiffany L. Heimann, 38, EMS W19 Lane, North Webster. Heimann’s vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a guardrail. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, East CR 200N, west of North Cessna Road, Warsaw. Driver: Alyssa J. Ashton, 33, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake. Ashton’s vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Damage up to $2,500.
10:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, East CR 200N and East Cessna Road, Warsaw. Driver: Michael A. Compton, 46, Glad Street, Warsaw. Compton’s vehicle slid off the roadway, striking a mailbox and a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
10:03 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, East Market Street, east of South Tamarack Street, Warsaw. Driver: Donnell Christopher, 42, River Bluff Drive, Columbia City. Christopher’s vehicle slid and struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
9:36 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, South County Farm Road and Dausha Court, Warsaw. Driver: Robert G. Walmer, 67, Connors Court, Warsaw. Walmer said his vehicle slid on the icy road. His vehicle struck the Tiger’s Retreat sign in the landscaped island separating the road on Dausha Court. Damage up to $2,500.
9:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, North Parker Street, north of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Heather R. Mullins, 21, CR 23, New Paris; and Amaris J. Longenecker, 23, Stony Ridge Drive, Angola. Mullins’ vehicle rear-ended Longenecker’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
8:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, South County Farm Road, north of Dausha Court, Warsaw. Driver: Dawn M. Allen, 57, Dausha Court, Warsaw. Allen’s vehicle slid and struck a neighborhood entrance sign. Damage up to $5,000.
7:56 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, South Johnson Street and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua A. Wolfe, 29, Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw; and Olivia K. Najera, 19, Hickory Street, Warsaw. Wolfe’s vehicle slid on the icy road, went into the westbound lane and struck Najera’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
7:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Jesse J. Casper, 25, Rootstock Court, Granger. Casper advised his vehicle slid downhill in a parking lot. His vehicle struck a storage shed. Damage up to $5,000.
6:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, South Detroit Street and East Pope Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Natalie Catalan-Lechuga, 29, Ireland Drive, Warsaw; and Kathleen S. Gast, 62, West CR 900S, Claypool. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $2,500.
2:52 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, SR 15, south of East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeralyn L. Meeker, 84, Old Road 30, Warsaw; and James R. Marsillett, 61, Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Meeker stated she was pulling out of the Pak-A-Sak Gas Station and did not see any other vehicles coming from either direction. When she proceeded onto the road, her vehicle struck Marsillett’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
1:34 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, East Center Street and Hickory Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Donna S. Potter, 75, East CR 450N, Rochester; and Christopher Coffman, 30, East CR 100N, Logansport. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $10,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:32 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Driver: Kaden R. Hayes, 20, Qarter Moon Drive, Pendleton. Hayes’ vehicle slid in a parking lot and struck a curb. Damage up to $2,500.
