Donald E. ‘Don’ Minear
Donald E. “Don” Minear, 60, North Webster, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born Nov. 16, 1958, in Columbia City, to Franklin “Hal” and Peggy (Rhodes) Minear.
He was a lifetime North Webster area resident and graduated in 1977 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He was married on April 5, 1980, in North Webster, to Debra K. “Deb” Clayton who survives. He was formerly employed at Lyall Electric and was the manager for Crystal Flash both in North Webster.
He was a member of the Country Bible Church in North Webster.
He is survived by his wife, Deb Minear, North Webster; two sons: Andy Minear and Luke (Sara) Minear, borth of North Webster; two grandchildren: Dylan and Paton Minear; parents: Hal and Peggy Minear, North Webster; sister: Susan (John) Shock, Syracuse; brother: Mark Minear, Leesburg.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Minear.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, in the funeral home with Pastor Myron Drent officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
