TIPPECANOE VALLEY 68, NORTH MIAMI 46
The Vikings finish up Three Rivers Conference play with a win over North Miami on the road Friday.
Jalen Shepherd and Wes Melanson put up 15 points apiece, while Cam Parker added 13 and Jace Potter scored nine for the Vikings, who scored at a nearly 50 percent clip from the floor in the win. Tanner Trippiedi and Parkur Dalrymple dished out five assists alice for Valley, which tallied 14 team assists.
Darian Hanley scored a game-high 16 points with nine rebounds, while Tristan Working chipped in 14 for the Warriors.
Valley improves to 11-8 on the season and finishes TRC play at 7-2. The Vikings will travel to NorthWood Tuesday night in the Channel 46 Game of the Week.
GOSHEN 42, WAWASEE 41
Wawasee took Goshen to double overtime in a bid at its first win in the Northern Lakes Conference Friday, but ultimately fell short on the road.
Leading the Warriors was Austin Miller with 14 points, while Ben Hoffert and Ethan Hardy each scored 12 in a three-pronged attack by the visitors. Hardy also pulled down nine rebounds before fouling out.
Goshen bot 19 points and six rebounds from Bryant Robinson, while Joseph Good scored nine.
The Warrior JV also lost, 41-33.
Wawasee slipped to 0-7 in NLC play and 5-13 overall. The Warriors will play host to Mishawaka Saturday night.
ELKHART MEMORIAL 57, NORTHWOOD 46
A 27-11 third quarter made the difference as Memorial handed NorthWood an NLC loss at home in Elkhart Friday.
Jason Borkholder scored a team-high 15 for Wood, doing much of his damage at the line with 11-of-14 free throw shooting. Trent Edwards finished with 10 points and three assists for the Panthers.
Memorial got double-digit production from three players, led by Hank Smith’s 16 and followed by D’Arjon Lewis’ 15 points, then Jai-veon Qaiyim’s 12.
NorthWood slides to 6-11 overall and 2-5 in the conference. Memorial sits in second place in the NLC with a 5-1 record behind 6-0 Warsaw.
The Panthers play at South Bend St. Joseph Saturday.
LAKELAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 59, SOUTH BEND CAREER ACADEMY 49
LCA earned its second straight win with a victory over visiting South Bend Career Academy Friday.
Landon Twombly poured in 21 points with seven assists and five rebounds. Jake Harmon scored 13, and Cameron Shepherd scored 12, while Landon Paris chipped in nine points, and Braxton Keller pulled down seven rebounds for the home team.
DeAndre Coleman finished with a game-high 26 points for Career Academy.
LCA improves to 7-11 and will play Community Baptist Tuesday.
