Ronald Fisher
Ronald “Ron” Fisher, 55, Milford, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on Aug. 30, 1963, in Goshen to Keith D. and Martha “Myrt” (Elliott) Russell. On May 24, 1986, he married Mary Ann Schrader; she survives.
He worked in the R.V. Industry for many years prior to opening his own business, Ron’s Well Service, Inc. He was an amateur photographer and enjoyed learning to make his pottery. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it was playing cards, listening to music, watching movies or playing a round of disc golf. He was a man who fought his illness with a determination to beat it. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend who is surely going to be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann; two children: Monica (Gurpreet “Sunny”) Singh, Milford; and Bryan Fisher, Fort Sill, Okla.; and his mother: Myrt Russell of Milford. Also surviving are two brothers: Craig (Jen) Fisher of Nappanee, Steven (Lora) Fisher of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A funeral celebrating Ron Fisher’s life will be at 6 p.m., held Friday, Feb. 8, at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W 900 N, Milford; Pastor Jack Barthel will officiate the service.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m., prior to the service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
