Norma J. Davidsen
Norma J. Davidsen, 86, Syracuse, passed away at 11:31 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at her home. She was born on June 8, 1932, in New Haven, to Norbert L. and Clara J. (Bowlby) Ladig.
She was raised in Fort Wayne and attended Catholic Schools in Fort Wayne. She was married on April 2, 1966, in Mishawaka, to Harold C. Davidsen, who survives. She lived most of her life in the Noble, Kosciusko, and Elkhart Counties, retired from Western Rubber in Goshen after 25 years as an inspector, and formerly worked at Essex Wire in Ligonier.
She is survived by her husband; two sons: Richard (Linda) Morris, Millersburg; Gregory (Sue) Morris, New Paris; two daughters: JoAnna Weigold, Syracuse; Cathy (Bill) Stuckman, Syracuse; stepson, Rev. David (Mary) Davidsen, Goshen; ten grandchildre and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Marilyn June Davidsen and Cynthia Kay Easterday, sister, Sarah Reed, and two brothers, Donald and Lowell Ladig.
No public services are planned. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw, IN 46580. Private family burial will take place in the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
