Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
11:05 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, West Crystal Lake Road and South CR 650W, Warsaw. Drivers: Cary D. Walls, 45, Sand Castle Drive, Warsaw; and Manuel Garcia, 34, West Rochester Street, Akron. Walls stated weather conditions were foggy and before he knew it he was into the intersection and struck Garcia’s vehicle. Garcia complained of left side pain and was examined by Mentone EMS at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
9:27 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, East CR 450S and South CR 300E, Warsaw. Driver: Destini A. Carpenter, 19, South CR 400E, Warsaw. Carpenter advised she was traveling westbound on East CR 450S at the turn onto South CR 300E. She said that due to foggy conditions and not being familiar with the area, she drove off the roadway to the left while making the turn. Her vehicle went over a rock and became stuck. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:27 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Lucinda L. Weaver, 60, EMS R4 Lane, Pierceton; and Sally A. Priser, 62, South Magee Road, Warsaw. Weaver’s vehicle struck Priser’s vehicle while Weaver was attempting to back into a parking space. Damage up to $5,000.
