WEST NOBLE BOYS 64, NORTHWOOD 47
West Noble jumped out of the gate on fire, to which NorthWood couldn’t keep up.
The Chargers took a 19-6 lead in the first quarter and spread out a 15-point lead, 37-22, at the half and never looked back.
Ben Vincent led the Panthers (6-10) with 22 points while Trent Edwards and Nick Bean combined for 13 rebounds.
NorthWood, which has dropped four of its last five, visit Elkhart Memorial Friday night to finish up its NLC schedule.
NORTHRIDGE BOYS 70, WAWASEE 49
Northridge couldn’t be slowed in the Northern Lakes Conference contest Tuesday night at the Hardwood Teepee.
Ridge took a 19-10 lead after the first bolstered by a trio of treys from Carter Stoltzfus and rode his hot and to the win. Stoltzfus would hit five threes all told in the game and finish with a team-high 19 points. Northridge in total hit 11 treys in the game, Sam Smith behind three of them for his nine points.
Camden Knepp scored 10 of his 13 points in the first half and Northridge’s leading scorer, Jackson Erekson, didn’t really get going until the fourth to tally his 11 points. Sam Vogt added eight points, six assists and four rebounds.
Ben Hoffert was the high man for Wawasee with 17 points, hitting five threes in the process. Ethan Hardy hit for a season-high 13 points for the Warriors and Aaron Evans finished with six points, five assists and four boards.
Northridge claimed the JV game in a 50-48 result.
Wawasee (5-12, 0-6 NLC) visits Goshen Friday to close out the NLC slate.
NORTHWOOD 7TH GRADE GIRLS 18, SCHMUCKER 15
NorthWood moved to 3-2 overall with a win over the future Kingsmen. Sophie Vincent led the way for the victors with nine points, three rebounds and two steals. Daisie Thomas added four points, seven rebounds and four steals.
LAKEVIEW 8TH GRADE GIRLS 24, EDGEWOOD 22
Macey Perry led Lakeview with six points and teammates Macy Wayne and Lauren Grose both came in with four points.
LAKEVIEW 7TH GRADE GIRLS 38, EDGEWOOD 29
Joey Rastrelli led Lakeview to the win with 18 points. Addison Mehlberg contributed to the win with 11 points.
Edgewood had Ava Wetzel lead the team with four points, 14 rebounds, four steals and three assists. Dalaney Vilamaa added nine points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists and Abbi Kohler scored five points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
