Two Females Arrested After Domestic Battery Incident
WARSAW — Two females were arrested after a domestic battery incident at Kuder Estates Apartments in Warsaw.
Adrienne Hernandez, 39, and Sandra Evette Hernendez, 39, both of 3204 Kuder Lane, Warsaw, were arrested and initially charged with domestic battery. Adrienne Hernandez’s updated charges include domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Thursday, Jan. 17, officers with the Warsaw Police Department were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at the above address. Adrienne told police that she and her wife, Sandra, were arguing when Sandra punched her in the face, causing red marks on her nose, forehead and cheek as well as a bloodied lip. Adrienne advised she does not remember much about the incident because she was knocked unconscious.
Sandra told police the two were arguing when Adrienne started punching her in the face. Sandra said she then struck Adrienne in the face. Police observed there were few marks on Sandra’s face. Sandra also had bloodied knuckles on her right hand.
Officers then spoke with a minor who was at the residence. The minor stated he observed the two females hitting each other. A witness at the scene also reported seeing the two females hitting each other in the face.
Adrienne Hernandez and Sandra Hernandez were booked at the Kosciusko County Jail Jan. 18. Both were booked on $6,000 surety and cash bonds.
