Lois Karen McCour
Lois Karen McCourt, 79, Claypool, passed away surrounded by family at 7:53 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, at her residence.
She was born on July 15, 1939, to Lela Joy (Mahoney) Method and Guy Benjamin Method. She was married to Noble Leon Rohrer from 1956 – 1978. Together they had two sons and one daughter before they divorced. She re-married on June 1, 1984, to Vincent McCourt, and they divorced in 2004.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she worked at Jomac Gloves in Warsaw, Kosciusko Community Hospital and later at Goshen Cushion. She was always a hard worker and retired in 2002 from Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw. She loved her cats, especially her cat Patches, and was an avid Notre Dame Fan. She loved her family and grandchildren and will be forever missed.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Michael Rohrer, Claypool; Jeffrey (Melanie) Rohrer, Claypool; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother: Doug Method, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Rita Sabo, sister, Fern Neff, brother, Guy Method, and her ex-husband, Noble Leon Rohrer who died on Oct. 15, 2018.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Burial will follow with a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw and officiated by her son, Reverend Michael Rohrer.
