Gerald Fredrick Emmons Jr.
Gerald Fredrick “Rick” Emmons Jr., 54, Rochester, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019.
On July 4, 1964, Gerald “Rick” Emmons was born in Logansport to Gerald F. Sr. and Carolyn L. Glaze Emmons.
He worked in residential construction. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with this family and friends. As a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana, he proudly rode his Harley, red and black sportster. Dale Earnhardt, both Jr and Sr, were his favorite NASCAR drivers.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Glaze of Rochester; two daughters: Chelsey Renae Emmons of Rochester, and Lt. Tracey Koncelik of Lonoke, Ark; two sisters: Laura Baker of Logansport, and Patricia England and husband Joshua of Logansport; four brothers: Anthony B. Emmons and wife Dorothy of Rochester, Andrew D. Emmons and wife Tammy of Logansport, Mark A. Emmons and wife Kim of Indianapolis, Jeffrey D. Emmons and wife Tina of Kokomo; step-father Cecil Cochran of Logansport; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Rick in death are his father, Gerald on Jan. 9, 2018 and brother, Capt. Stephen Emmons on May 15, 2000.
A celebration of the life of Gerald F. “Rick” Emmons will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 11-1 on Tuesday in the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Citizens Cemetery.
