WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was arrested after punching her boyfriend’s brother in the face.
Mary Catherine Ousley, 41, 1101 E. Winona Ave., Apt. B, Warsaw, is being charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor; and battery, a class A misdemeanor.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Tuesday, Dec. 25, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an address regarding a battery incident.
A male stated that his brother’s girlfriend, Ousley, had punched him in the face. He told the officer that the three of them had been drinking.
The male stated that Ousley was trying to talk down to him and tell him what he was doing wrong in life. The male stated he then called Ousley a name and she punched him in the face. The male advised that Ousley punched him with a closed fist and that his mouth was bleeding and it hurt.
Ousley admitted to punching the male after he called her a name and stated she was not going to let the male talk to her like that in front of her daughter.
The officer observed blood on the male’s lip and saw that the male’s lip was swollen.
Ousley was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail Tuesday, Dec. 25, on a $600 cash bond.
