Warsaw Woman Faces Drug Charges After Reported Overdose
WARSAW — A Warsaw woman is facing drug charges after officers say they were called to her residence due to a drug overdose.
Felisha Nicole Johnson, 30, 261 EMS B60 Lane, Warsaw, is being charged with possession of a narcotic drug and possession of a syringe, both level 6 felonies.
On Nov. 4, 2018, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to Johnson’s residence for a reported drug overdose. The caller told dispatch that the needle was still in the suspect’s chest at the time of the emergency call.
Upon arrival, the officer observed Johnson lying on her back on the bathroom floor. Emergency medical personnel were able to revive Johnson. The officer observed a syringe and two bags of a brown substance that was later identified as heroin.
Johnson was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Jan. 12.
