WARSAW — Fire departments responded to an apartment fire at 520 Chinworth Court, Apartment B., Warsaw, around 11:40 a.m. today, Jan. 14.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was first called to the scene and Winona Lake Fire Department was requested for assistance. The fire was contained to the interior of the apartment building with minimal exterior damage.

RedCross was contacted to assist with eight adults and four children who live in the apartment building. A total of four apartments were affected by the fire.

Lutheran EMS and officers with the Warsaw Police Department were also on scene to assist.
