Physical Education Teacher Arrested On Alcohol, Battery And Strangulation Charges
SYRACUSE — Kristoffer Michael Brady, 38, 13145 N. East Shore Drive, Syracuse, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail twice within three days on two separate incidents.
Brady, a physical education teacher at Syracuse Elementary School, was arrested Monday, Jan. 7, on a charge of domestic battery and strangulation by an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office. Brady was out on bond from an arrest involving alcohol Saturday evening.
Police were notified at 6:33 p.m. of a domestic situation at Brady’s address on North East Shore Drive, east of Syracuse.
According to information a female notified police of a domestic dispute and was waiting outside the residence for police to arrive. The victim told police she had been thrown from the residence by the neck by Brady, following a dispute about a family issue.
Brady had been arrested Saturday evening for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was held on $700 cash bond. In this incident police observed him driving a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse without headlights at 11:33 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5. Syracuse Police found him to be intoxicated and administered a certified breath test.
