Edith Lorene Miller
Edith Lorene Miller, 56, New Paris, passed away peacefully January 5, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital due to complications from Myasthenia Gravis. She was born on June 22, 1962 in Goshen, to Elmer C. and Irene (Yoder) Yoder.
On March 29,1986 she married Ron Miller from Sugarcreek, Ohio and then moved to Indiana in the fall of 1986.
She is survived by her husband, Ron of 32 years, daughters, Angela (Matthew) Zimmerman, Goshen, Abigail (Doug) Troyer, Halsey, Oregon, a son, Anson, at home, mother, Irene Yoder, Ligonier, mother-in-law, Mary Miller, Sugarcreek, Ohio, her friend, Mose J. Miller, Benton, Ohio, 3 sisters, Eilleen (Dorvan) Yoder, Milo, North Dakota, Carolyn (Delmar) Bontrager, Kalona, Iowa, Kathleen (Marcus) Beachy, Sugarcreek, Ohio, 3 brothers, Freeman (Betty) Yoder, Hillcrest, Arkansas, LaVerne (Kay) Yoder, New Paris, and DeWayne (Lori) Yoder, Millersburg.
She was preceded in death by a son, Austin, a daughter, Alicia, as well as her father, Elmer C. Yoder, and father-in-law, Wayne C. Miller.
She loved her family and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She faithfully attended Liberty Mennonite in Wakarusa along with her husband and son, Anson.
Visitation will be at 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church, 25402 CR 50, Nappanee. A funeral service will also take place at Bethel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, with a final viewing after the funeral. The service will be conducted by her Pastor and brothers-in-laws. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
