Wawasee got a big individual effort from three of its girls in besting Goshen while the RedHawk depth on the boys side helped it to a slim win over the Warriors.
Wawasee had two individual and two relay wins each from Ali Haberman and Ella Park, and a win and two combined relays from Rileigh Atwood to build its win. Haberman took the 50 (28.13) and 100 (1:01.37) freestyles while Park claimed the 200 free (2:07.65) and 500 free (5:35.57) to pull the double-double. Atwood won her customary breaststroke at 1:11.66 and the three girls teamed up with Caitlin Kingrey in both the 200 free (1:52.22) and 400 free (4:12.85) relay wins.
Jared Krugman was a double winner for Wawasee in the 200 (1:51.90) and 500 (4:59.04) frees, and helped the 200 free relay to a 1:37.22 win with Karlson Hand, Jacob Krugman and Daegan Kingrey. Hand won the IM at 2:12.53, Alex Troutman won the breaststroke (1:06.48) and Brady Claassen won diving at 239.80.
Leading Goshen were Zoe Eichorn in the IM and fly and Alex Ramos had a pair of wins for the Goshen boys with tallies in the 50 and fly.
Wawasee wraps up its dual season 4-3 in the Northern Lakes Conference, and will have its girls readying for Thursday’s NLC Prelims at Concord. The finals are set for Saturday.

Concord carried out a pair of convincing wins Saturday morning in the Warsaw Community Pool.
Warsaw only claimed two wins the entire run in girls or boys swims, both coming from Delaney Wihebrink. The Tiger senior won the individual medley at 2:15.04 in a two-second win over Concord’s Olivia Trout, and also claimed the breaststroke at 1:06.76, running away with the event.
Concord were led by two wins apiece from its stud boys Kal Findley in the 200 free and breaststroke, Matt Bond in the IM and backstroke, and Will Harris in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Makayla Miller added a win in the 200 free for the Concord girls.
Warsaw finishes 5-2 in girls and 4-3 in boys.
Both teams will be begin prepping for Thursday’s Girls NLC Prelims at Concord. The finals are set for Saturday.
