Milford Man Arrested For Drug Charges After Overdose
KOSCIUSKO — A Milford man was arrested after officers discovered heroin and marijuana at a residence.
Daniel Pedroza, 21, 410 Lehman Drive, Milford, is being charged with possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
On Dec. 10, officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a drug overdose.
When officers arrived, medics were tending to an unconscious male subject, identified as Pedroza. A female at the residence said Pedroza snorted some heroin and then collapsed to the floor.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, an officer observed a bag containing a white powder residue that was consistent with heroin. The officer also found a bag containing 20 grams of marijuana.
Medics administered five Narcans and were successful in waking Pedroza up.
Pedroza was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Dec. 29, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
