Richard D. Heiman — UPDATED
Richard D. “Dick” Heiman, 84, Warsaw, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. He was born on Aug. 28, 1934, in Warsaw, to Anthony “Tony” and Sophia (Ulerhank) Heiman.
He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident and graduated in 1953 from Warsaw High School. He retired from Heiman Construction in Warsaw after 50 years.
He formerly attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church & Fraternal Order of Eagles both in Warsaw and was an avid Notre Dame and Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by three daughters: Tracy Denny, Myrtle Beach; Paula (John) Mason, Warsaw; Melissa (Tim) Trueblood, Nappanee; a son, Brandon Vanover, Warsaw; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two brothers: Bill (Beverly) Heiman, Warsaw; and Ray (Jackie) Heiman, Carmel; and his companion, Mary K. Daniels, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Evelyn Garrian, Rosemary Kerr, and Eloise Kinsey, and three brothers: Lee, Jim, and Paul Heiman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
