Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:47 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, SR 15 and Plaza Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Asia Miotta, 23, CR 225S, Winona Lake. Miotta’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
11:38 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 650 West CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Jeremiah Miller, 42, EMS D9 Lane, Syracuse. Miller told police he was in a parking spot, didn’t realize his vehicle was in reverse and became distracted. Miller’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle registered to Austin Sellers. Damages up to $2,500.
2:44 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, West Market Street and South Washington Street, Warsaw. Driver: Dwayne Lockridge, 58, Philadelphia Drive, McCordsville. While attempting to drop his trailer off at Owen’s, Lockridge made a tight turn with his vehicle, which ended up knocking over a stop sign. Damages up to $1,000.
1:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, East Center Street and US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Grannison Wright, 65, Mishawaka; and Ashley Fink, 33, Walnut Street, Etna Green. Fink’s vehicle rear-ended Wright’s vehicle at a stoplight. Damages up to $2,500.
12:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, SR 15 and Enterprise Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Susan Vanlake, 58, CR 800W, Kewanna; and Angela Trump, 43, Pierceton. Vanlake’s vehicle sideswiped Trump’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
3:16 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 12700 block US 30 and Plymouth-Goshen Trail. Drivers: John Bickel, Plymouth and Rhiley Shafer, Walkerton. Bickel drove his vehicle into the path of the Shafter vehicle. Bickel was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital for possible head injuries. Shafter was transported by family to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, for abrasions on her hand.
