WARSAW — Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee Chairman Mike Ragan appointed Patricia Cook to complete the remaining term of the Etna Green clerk-treasurer position.
Cook has lived in Etna Green since 1984. She is married with seven children. Cook worked at an auto repair business for 15 years.
“We congratulate Patricia Cook on this appointment and wish her well in her new position and are confident that she will serve the citizens of Etna Green with courtesy and professionalism,” said Ragan. “The Kosciusko County Republican Party thanks Laura Baker for her many years of service.”
Cook’s term will start Jan. 1, 2019. Baker, the elected Republican Etna Green clerk-treasurer, resigned from the position.
“I’m just very ready to get started,” said Cook. “And I’m ready to help implement what the town council wants to do.”
Cook also thanked Etna Township Precinct Committeeman Steve Sechrist for reaching out to her about the position.
