Granger Woman Continues To Fight Toxic Shock Syndrome
INDIANAPOLIS — Anna Norquist, a Granger woman who’s been fighting for her life as she battles Toxic Shock Syndrome, made it through her 10th surgery Wednesday.
That’s according to her brother, Patrick, who posted the update on Facebook.
Doctors amputated her left leg but were able to save her knee joint. She’s currently in stable condition at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Her next surgery is scheduled for Friday, when doctors will amputate her left hand.
If you would like to support the Norquist family, through this financial and emotional time, they set up a Go Fund Me page in Anna’s name. You can also donate to the Norquist family at any 1st Source Bank.
