Nancy Jean LeFort
Nancy Jean LeFort, 76, passed away Dec. 8, 2018. She was surrounded by family, friends, and the caring staff at Grace Village Health Care and Rehabilitation throughout her time there. She touched many hearts throughout her life.
She was born on Nov. 6, 1942, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Raymond and Helen (Barton) Fulton. Both have preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn (Larry) Baker, of Pierceton, and is survived by her sister, Mary Gervasi, of Winona Lake.
Nancy married David W. LeFort on July 30, 1960, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are her four daughters: Deborah (Joe) Rosbrugh, of Warsaw, Denise (John) Good, of Warsaw, Deanna (Kirk) Sobecki, of Bremen and Dana (Randel) Riner, of Warsaw. She had seven grandchildren: Brenna (Aric) Goshert, of Warsaw, Jarod (Alison) Rosbrugh, of Warsaw, Ashley Shafer, of Leesburg, Tyler Good, of Dallas, Texas, Megan (Lester Jr.) Conley of Silver Lake, Nicholas, Christopher and Emily Sobecki, of Bremen. She has 15 great-grandchildren. Four have preceded her in death.
Nancy LeFort enjoyed the Lord, family and friends. She always sang to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and played in a euchre club for many years. she enjoyed her shopping, crafts, and angel figurines, but most of all Nancy enjoyed giving to others.
She worked as a CNA at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Lackawanna, N.Y., and Miller’s Merry Manor, in Warsaw. She also worked at Da-Lite Screen, B&B Shoes, and the Convenience Clinic of Warsaw after moving from Buffalo, N.Y., to Warsaw, Indiana, in June of 1977.
