WCS Announces Fitterling As New CFO
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of April Fitterling to fulfill the role of chief financial officer of Warsaw Community Schools.
Fitterling attended Indiana University East where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She was recently selected as one of the first recipients of the WCS Board Leadership Scholarship and will be pursuing her Master of Business Administration degree.
April Fitterling’s tenure at Warsaw Community Schools began in 2014 when she began working with the district’s business department as deputy treasurer. In 2016, Fitterling was again promoted into the role of corporation treasurer, a role she held until her recent hire as CFO.
“I’d like to thank the board and WCS administration for the opportunity to serve as chief financial officer,” stated Fitterling. “To be able to grow within a corporation that has invested in me is a rewarding feeling. I look forward to this next step with the business department team and supporting our corporation.”
