Wabash Valley Music Association Presents VoicePlay At Honeywell Center
WABASH — The five-man a capella group entitled VoicePlay will perform on the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater stage at 7:30 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 12. As seen on Season 4 of NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” VoicePlay recordings and concerts are a huge hit and have to be heard to be believed. This concert is part of the Wabash Valley Music Association Series and is presented by Parkview Wabash Hospital.
Based in Orlando, Fla., VoicePlay, with its incredible brand of entertainment, performs across the country and around the world. What began quite literally as a street corner barbershop act has now evolved into an internationally acclaimed touring sensation and video entertainment brand.
VoicePlay is unlike any theatrical experience available today, recreating the orchestrated sound of an entire musical production with nothing but the human voice.
The cast of VoicePlay has taken the timeless sound of vocal music and turned it completely on its head. Re-imagined as a full stage show, amazing, humorous and vertigo-inducing harmonies pepper VoicePlay’s music-without-music sound as it ping-pongs between eras and styles, channeling the breadth of the musical landscape and lacing it with inventive and often hilarious on-stage theatrics.
Ticket prices for the VoicePlay concert are $25, $35 and $45, and may be purchased online at www.honeywellcenter.org or by calling the Honeywell Foundation Box Office at (260) 563-1102.
