Get Ready For The Holidays With Hometown ‘Holly’ Days First Friday
WARSAW — Come out and celebrate the holiday seasons with December’s “Holly” Days First Friday event held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7.
This year’s event will feature the Optimist’s Santa House open from 5 to 9 p.m. at the courthouse square. Children can come and visit with Santa and share their holiday wishes.
Santa will take a break from greeting children at 6 p.m. to join Mrs. Claus in the Twinkle Light Parade. The parade will run east on Center Street to Indiana Street then turn left down to Central Park and return to Main Street.
Carriage rides will be taking travelers from City Hall down to Central Park to enjoy the Winter Wonderland light display and back. The fee to ride the carriage is a cash, canned food, or toy donation. Carriages will run from 5 to 9 p.m. and also take a break during the Twinkle Light Parade.
While at Central Park, enjoy face painters and balloon artists inside the Pavilion, along with kids’ crafts and activities.
As always, enjoy food vendors, pop up shops and in-store specials all night long.
