NORTH WEBSTER — There is still time to submit photos to The Watershed Foundation 2018 photo contest. The deadline for submissions is midnight Monday, Dec. 31. Online voting for the “People’s Choice Award” begins Jan. 1 and will continue through Jan. 31, 2019.
Many have a plethora of pictures, from animals and nature, to family and playtime. At TWF, one of its most important duties is connecting others to the watershed in a way that helps the community understand how everyone, in some way, is connected to and benefits from the natural water resources.
People are all involved in different ways to the watershed and TWF would love to see how those in the watershed live, learn and love through the lakes and streams. The annual photo contest “Picture Your Watershed” is an important way TWF can connect with the community and show others how awesome it is to live in the land of the lakes.
Pictures tell the story of how the lakes impact and affect life. The staff at TWF would love to see them, share them and let others know how important water is to you and the community.
There are rules, terms and legal conditions that should be read before submitting any photos.
The competition is open to participants of all ages.
You can enter the contest by visiting the TWF website.
