‘A Christmas Story’ Coming To Nappanee Library
NAPPANEE — The Nappanee Public Library has announced its list of upcoming activities and events.
Preschool Story Time — Dec. 5, 10 to 10:45 a.m. (ages 3-5)
Children, accompanied by a favorite adult, are invited to have fun with engaging books, songs and activities celebrating Christmas.
Tween Thursday — Dec. 6, 4 to 5 p.m. (tweens)
Interested patrons can come to the Cube to make unique, fun Christmas cards to share with loved ones during the holidays. All materials and snacks will be provided. Registration is requested, but not required. Call (574) 773-7919 or visit nappaneelibrary.org to register.
Visit With Santa — Dec. 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (all ages)
Patrons can celebrate the holiday season with a visit from Santa Claus. During his visit, Santa will pose for pictures on his sleigh, listen to children’s Christmas wishes, and spread holiday cheer. Visitors are responsible for their own pictures, but staff will be available to assist. No registration is necessary.
Movies In The Park: ‘A Christmas Story’ — Dec. 8, p.m. (all ages)
Patrons can bring family, friends, chairs and blankets for the free screening of “A Christmas Story” at the downtown pavilion. Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No registration is necessary.
