James B. Snyder
James B. Snyder, 71, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 in Plymouth.
He was born in Plymouth to Bob and Josie (Houghton) Snyder on March 5, 1947. He worked as a machinist for Biomet for more than 30 years, retiring this past summer. Jim enjoyed traveling the country in his RV, was an avid guitar player, hot rod enthusiast as well as long-time member and pilot at the Mentone Flying Club in Rochester.
Jim is loved and survived by his children Rick Keck, Julie Ducheneaux, and Jaimee (Snyder) Giron. Also surviving are his siblings Mike (Linda) Snyder, Geoff (Peg) Snyder, Joe (Sue) Snyder, Carol (Dave) Rice, and Steve (Teena) Snyder. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Josie, as well as his brother John Snyder.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison Street Plymouth, Indiana 46563. Burial will follow at New Oak Hill Cemetery.
