Annice Severns
Annice Severns, 86, died at 8:42 a.m., Nov. 25, 2018, at her residence.
She was born on April 3, 1932, to Guy and Cora (Smith) Heishman in Reynolds. She attended Mead High School, Metea, Indiana.
She married Dale Onis Severns in 1949 in Rochester. After living in Leiters Ford, they moved to Akron, where she resided for 50 years. Early on, she was a house keeper for Howard Utter.
She attended the Athens Community Church, Athens. She loved animals and flowers. She had owned dogs and gave special attention to the stray cats in the town of Akron. Her favorite colors were pink and purple.
Surviving Annice is a son: Roger Dale Severns (Barbara) of Akron; two daughters: Debra Ann Leap (John) of Rochester; Annette Groninger (Greg) of Silver Lake; one sister-in-law: Phoebe Lykowski of South Bend; seven grandchildren: Shawn, Cami, Chad, Summer, Gregory, Season, Graham and 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Preceding Annice Severns in death are her parents, husband Dale on Sept. 20, 2001, and ten brothers and sisters.
